New Nonkilling India Initiatives
The Citizen’s Initiative for a Nonkilling has just completed a series of lectures held at Mahatma Gandhi University (Kottayam, Kerala) on March 29-31 as part of it’s Violence-Free India Campaign (Himsamukth Bharat). The series title was “The Problem of Violence and Terror and Citizen’s Initiatives to Combat Them”. On the final day participants examined the nonkilling thesis and some of CGNK’s projects as a source for action and ideas to build a killing-free India.
A newsletter of the Violence-Free India Campaign has also been launched to commemorate it’s fifth year of existence. The National Youth Assembly against Violence and Terror and for a Nonkilling India, organized in November 2009 New Delhi is one of the highlighted topics. You may download the full Newsletter here.
