Nonkilling Relationships

Summary: Building upon Glenn D. Paige’s societal quest for a nonkilling future, the contributions in this volume seek to understand how relationships are criti-cal to build societies with no killing, threats to kill or conditions and condi-tions conducive to killing. Through different perspectives, contributing au-thors explore the importance of human contact, interconnectivity, affectivi-ty, recognition, communication, conviviality, resilience, and a sense of be-longing to the community, but also restraint, ritualization and reconciliation.
