Nonkilling Discussed at “Call of the Time” Dialogues
Luis Botero, CGNK Education and Training Global Team Leader was present at the 2010 “Call of the Time Dialogues” that were held in Colombia gathering almost 40 people from December 2-5. The Call of the Time Dialogues have been taking place since the year 2000 bringing together scientists and artists, social activists and government employees, business entrepreneurs and people dedicated to cultivate their spirit, economists and environmentalists, of all ages, join together to answer the question: What is the call of our time?
International consultants Judy Rodgers and Ken O’Donnell facilitated the meeting that included the presence of former Colombian President Belisario Betancur, as well as Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University leaders Mohini Panjabi and Gayatri Naraine, BKWSU Representative to the United Nations. The conclusions of this dialogue will be published son, but three main conclusions are worth mentioning: 1- all participants think that the spiritual dimension must be at the center of any consideration about real world transformation; 2- the power of pure thought is a primary source to create the external world and is a powerful tool to overcome today’s challenges; 3- we are facing a change of era: we have a world that is breaking apart and a new world emerging; and we have to focus our energy on the new one.
