Nonkilling Balkans Initiative Launched
The Nonkilling Balkans Forum, a new regional initiative in association with CGNK, has just been launched with the expressed goal of the “creation of Balkan societies free of killing”. The initiative is coordinated by Rifet Bahtijaragic, member of CGNK’s Nonkilling Arts Research Committee.
The Forum seeks to expand the initiative to all countries in the Balkans region and its communities abroad, namely those from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Serbia and Kosovo. The Nonkilling Balkans Forum is a nonprofit, nonpolitical Associate of the Center for Global Nonkilling, will work to improve relations between and within these societies to reach out toward nonkilling futures.
