A Special Policy Brief on Protecting Sacred Spaces, prepared by CGNK Governing Council member Chaiwat Satha-Anand will also be introduced by Olivier Urbain, with copies to be distributed among participants. The Policy Brief is a result of the conference held by the Toda Institute for Global Peace and Policy Research in collaboration with the Center for Global Nonkilling and the Peace Information Center in Bangkok, Thailand, on May 28-29, 2011, and the recently published book Protecting the Sacred, Creating Peace in Asia-Pacific, also edited by Chaiwat Satha-Anand and Olivier Urbain.
