In continuation of the several programmes and campaigns undertaken in India and elsewhere on the problem of violence and on the basis of our experience in this field, the campaign “Give Nonviolence A Chance and make Nonkilling A Mission” seeks  to foster a nonviolent and nonkilling India and to generate a “Nonkilling View” in infinite reverence to life, universal peace, and creativity in the emerging national and international and civilizational crisis leading to widespread violence.

In the inaugural session, Dr. Anoop Swarup stated that “We have to search and foster individual and collective capabilities to strengthen the roots and tradition of nonviolence and promote nonviolent and sustainable alternatives as Gandhi expected us to do in the post-Gandhian period. We do hope you will appreciate this initiative and join us the small get-together and offer your valuable views to streamline the ideas on the campaign.”
